First Thoughts on BERLOOK
I had a vision when I booked my trip to Greece, it was of myself lounging on the beach in a white and blue floral bikini, with a glass of wine in my hand overlooking the sun setting behind the ocean. Fast forward a couple of weeks where I saw exactly that bikini on an Instagram Ad from BERLOOK.
On a first glance at their instagram and website their designs are gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. They also claim that they are sustainable which is a huge tick for me. On further research I did find that they ship from China, which this isn’t the most sustainable practice for me buying it from Germany, but to balance out the long import, 80% of their materials are recycled and 100% of their packaging (including an adorable bag that comes with your order!) is made from biodegradable materials.
Look and Feel
The bikinis look just as they are on the website and the bag that they come in (which I will be using on holiday as either a shoe bag or a wet bikini bag) is a lovely extra.
I was also surprised that they had hand sewn metal labels on their bikini bottoms, which gives it a more luxurious feel.
Another plus is how creative they are with the straps. The black bikini has several ways to tie up, giving you a different look each time! They also sell reversible bikinis which is great if you’re packing light.
I ordered an XS for the tops and S for the bottoms, both fit perfectly. The bikini tops are a dream and really create the perfect shape. The bottoms with the tie ups at the side fit well and they show a lot (perfect for tanning!). If you want to cover up more I suggest getting the bottoms that have no tie ups like in the photo below.
Overall I was super happy with these bikinis and I cannot wait to wear them in a few weeks! Have you tried BERLOOK yet? Write below what you thought of their products.
